The global online cycling community appears to have taken matters into its own hands after Facebook rejected calls to remove an anti-cyclist group that had attracted more than 33,000 fans on the social network.
Genetic's Syngenic pedals might well be faithful copies of Look’s justly popular ARC design but nice detailing and great build quality distinguishes them from a sea of clones. True, some may baulk at the relatively steep (20mm) axle to sole measurement and the KEO type just pip them to the post when it comes to power transfer but they’re fantastic starter pedals if you are either new to single sided road pedals or want some dependable starter kit for a stab at racing.

It may be another fortnight before the new ProTour season starts with the Tour Down Under, but Team Saxo Bank’s 2010 has got off to the worst possible start with the news that the Danish Bank is terminating its sponsorship of Bjarne Riis’s outfit at the end of this year, 12 months earlier than originally agreed.
The blow comes a little over a year after a separate deal to bring on board a co-sponsor to Saxo Bank had fallen apart, reportedly leaving officials of the bank unhappy at it being left as sole title sponsor of the team.
